Here I am again...
A few years ago, I tried to host my own blog. It took a fair amount of time with a steep learning curve on technology choices. There were (and still are) so many! I ended running my blog on Wordpress, but didn’t write consistently and eventually just stopped completely.
With all the AI tools, researching and learning about new topics become so much easier and low friction. This time, I am able to set up this blog quickly in less than an hour. The longest time it took was to decide on the name.
I chose Turndown Service as the name of the blog as it is one of my favorite part of travelling. That feeling of coming back to the hotel at the end of a long day, with the bed and room being prepared for me to have good night sleep is just the most luxurious feeling. I want to capture and write about things that makes me feel that way in life. The little things that are memorable, that you think about it from time to time, and the feeling you hold onto for a very long time.
Anyways, here I am again, starting my blogging journey in this place, with all the excitement and hopes for a better turnout than last time.
